Intermolecular Forces Notes:
Intermolecular forces are the forces present between molecules that cause interactions. These are the forces of attraction or repulsion. These forces are present between molecules and other neighbouring particles. If we compare them with intra molecular forces, that are forces present inside a molecule, they are weak. We can consider the example of HCl in which there are intermolecular forces called dipole-dipole forces between two HCl molecules.
