Hplc Notes:
High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is a form of column chromatography. It has two phases, the mobile phase and the stationary phase. In the mobile phase, a sample mixture or analyse in a solvent is pumped at high pressure and in the stationary phase, it is passed through a column with chromatographic packing material. The main purposes for using HPLC are for identifying, quantifying and purifying the individual components of the mixture.
