Electron Notes:
Electrons are defined as smallest of the particles that make up an atom. They carry a negative charge. The number of protons and electrons is equal in an atom. We can consider the example of hydrogen atom. Hydrogen atom has just one electron and one proton. There are three main types of particles that make an atom and the electron is one of those particles. In an atom, the electron revolves around the nucleus and it has its energy according to the energy level that it is present in.
