Wavelength Notes:
A wavelength is a measure of distance between two identical peaks or crests which are high points, or between two identical troughs which are the low points in a wave. Wavelengths represent a repeating pattern of traveling energy, such as light or sound. It is thus the inverse of the spatial frequency.
