Sex chromosomes Notes:
Sex chromosomes are those that determine the sex of an individual. For example a female inherits XX and a male inherits a XY. If the combination is not right or if there's any abnormality in the inheritance of sex chromosomes, serious disorders may occur an example of which is Klinefelter syndrome, where a male inherits 2 sets of X chromosome and he may have reproductive abnormalities or feminine characteristics.
