Irony is a medium in delivering message intentionally by using artistic devices or literary technique that is contrary to surface meaning. In Greek tragedy, irony is a terminology in presenting clear perspective as a significance of a character's utterance or performance towards its viewers or reader i.e. dramatic irony. Moreover, it is taken as a tool or figure of speech, works in a way that dedicated or designed meaning is different from the exact meaning of the expression in the form of words. Correspondingly, irony is a methodology or a created situation in a theatre, drama, play, or novel that becomes eventually finishes up in a unique paradoxical approach what is apparently foreseen.
