Requirements Documentation Notes:
A project's requirements must be established before the project starts. These requirements should be documented. Requirements documentation gives the details of the requirements and show how each requirement fulfills the need of the business/project. Requirement documents can range from simple to more detailed. The requirements of the project can be high-level in the start but the details can be added later in the project. Whatever the case is, the requirements of the project must be easily understandable, complete, consistent and can be traced back to the origin. Requirements can be categorized by an organization into two categories; business requirements and technical requirements. Further classification of the requirements can be made. The classes include business requirements, stakeholder requirements, solution requirements, transition requirements, project requirements and quality requirements.
