Quality Control Notes:
In the field of quality management, it is necessary to assure the quality of the product produced or services provided. However, it is better to continuously monitor the processes for any defects rather than checking the quality at the end. The quality check at the end increases the cost and time of rework. So, organizations must monitor the quality throughout the process. The processes and activities associated with monitoring the product or service quality continuously, identifying the errors and correcting them are collectively called quality control. The processes involved in quality control are usually statistical processes which help to identify and reduce the variation in the processes. The focus of quality control is to make the processes stable and capable enough so that they product good quality products.
