Procurement Management Plan Notes:
Procurement is defined as acquiring the required. During a project, several different things are required to perform the tasks and activities. These things must be obtained from a supplier/suppliers. For this reason, a procurement management plan is developed. A procurement management plan is a document that shows how the required material will be acquired or obtained. The procurement management plan enlists the sources of procuring material and their relative costs. The actual source and cost must be aligned with the procurement plan especially when the project is funded externally. A procurement management plan guides the team regarding schedule of procurement activities, constraints and assumptions, legal jurisdiction, payment terms with the supplier, stakeholder role in procurement process etc.
