Power Notes:
The word 'power' is defined as the ability of a person to direct others in any possible way, affecting their actions as a result. A project leader/manager has power to an extent where he/she can easily direct team members to do a specific task, or act in a particular way. Power can be related to an individual or an overall organization and depends upon the traits that are showed by them. There are various forms of power that can be displayed by a project manager. Some forms of power are positional, informational, referent, situational, personal, relational, expert, reward-oriented, coercive, ingratiating, pressure-based, guilt-based, persuasive, and avoiding.
