Ago3 Notes:
Ago3 is an Argonaute protein that is predicted to have mRNA binding activity. Then, in association with piRNAs, it cleaves the transposon mRNAs. It is thought to be involved in miRNA-mediated inhibition of translation and also in the proliferation of stem cells.
