Chromophore Group Notes:
Chromophore or chromophore group is a part of molecule and gives color to that particular molecule. Since the color is not absorbed in a certain wavelength spectrum of visible light, therefore it is visible to our eyes. Chromophore is that area of a molecule where the difference of energy between two individual molecule orbitals falls within the visible spectrum range.
