A tool that diagrammatically provides visual information on a particular concept is called mind mapping. Mind mapping is basically a creative method to gather information and ideas. Through mind mapping, the haphazard information can be structured on a piece of paper. The major concept is written in the center of the page. All the relevant ideas or information is then placed around the major concept. The information gathered through mind mapping helps in easy analysis of the information and also to generate more ideas. Mind mapping can be used in quality management and it helps to determine the constraints, relationships and quality requirements.
