Active Voice Notes:

Active voice is the grammatical term which tells us what subject is doing, main focus is on the subject. The active voice expresses a sentence where the subject performs the action done by the verb. These voices are available in past, present and future tense. The sentence structure to be followed is "subject+verb+object". Example "My father planted this plant last year". "The student(subject) wrote(verb) the essay(object)" the subject is doing the action and the object is receiving the action. As the main focus is on the subject or what it does that's why we will called it as "active voice".
