Preposition with Verb Notes:
Prepositions with verbs is an incredible combination used in a text before an object of the subject. It tells us about the action and working going on in the text. These are called dependent prepositions and they are followed by a noun or a gerund ('ing' form). We cake make a combination of a verb with for, in, of ,on and with. For example "They're waiting for a bus." For is the dependent preposition for 'wait'. We can use other prepositions with 'wait' e.g. He waited at the bus stop. Thus 'for' is dependent preposition. That's how verb can make a pain with other prepositions as well. "She believes in ghost". "I agree with you". "I suffer from hay fever".
