We can say that predicate is a part of a sentence which indicate verb and stating something about subject. Or in simple words predicate is a part of a sentence that contains an action. For example "He looks stunning" Here stunning is a predicate as it tells us something about a subject. "She is washing her clothes". here we came to know that a what Subject is doing.
