Sister chromatids Notes:

A sister chromatid refers to the similar copies formed by the DNA replication of a chromosome. Both these copies are fused together by a shared centromere. In other words, a sister chromatid may also be said to be one half of the duplicated chromosome as they're both totally identical to each other. A pair of sister chromatids is also called a dyad.
