Cytokinesis Notes:
Cytokinesis is the physical process of cell division in which the cytoplasm of a parental cell divides equally into two daughter cells. The organelles had already been duplicated before the division took place to ensure each daughter cell receives a copy of the organelles. Cytokinesis occurs concurrently with two types of nuclear division called mitosis and meiosis. When the cytoplasm splits, all the organelles also divide between the two daughter cells.
