Resources Notes:
A resource is something that can be used to get benefit from. It is a source of utility. Resources can be broadly classified as renewable resource and non-renewable resources. Non-renewable resources, once used, cannot be used again e.g. oil, wood etc. Renewable resources can be used again and again e.g. wind, solar energy etc. In a project, common resources that can be used are material, labor, equipment etc. A resource acts as an asset that are used to provide benefit and can be consumed during the process. Some resources can be physical which are called tangible resources e.g. equipment while others can be non-physical which are called intangible resources e.g. any type of intellectual property.
