Crash Time Definition:
Crash time is the shortest estimated length of time in which the activity can be completed.

Crash Time Notes:
The activity durations for a project are estimated keeping in mind the assumption that the activities will be performed under normal conditions. However situations arise when the activities have to be completed earlier than the actual estimated time. The shortest possible time that is needed for an activity to be performed is called crash time. When an activity is performed under crash time, additional resources are used. For example, if three painters are required to paint a room in five days and the activity has to be accelerated in order to complete the paint in three days, the three days' time is called crash time
