Comparative adverbs are used in order to make a comparison between two verbs. It is used to judge a verb on the basis of its qualities. We generally add er at the end of a verb in order to make a comparison between two verbs like "She runs faster than her brother". "This room is brighter than that one ". We can also add word "more" as with some words er doesn't goes. As an example "She talks more gracefully than her sister" as we can't add er with graceful that's why we've added more as per as grammatical rules is concerned and satisfied.
