A pathogen is a micro organisms (a tiny organisms that can only be seen with a microscope) that causes disease.

Pathogens are reponsible for generating diseases in organisms in their cells, entering into their bodies and breed there. There are four kinds of microorganisms that plays the role as phogens: viruses, bacteria, protoctists and fungi. It is examined through various researches that the diseases that are caused by pathogen can easily be transferred to other person, called "tranmissible diseases".
