Cell Division Definitions:
Prokaryotes have a single circular chromosome composed of double-stranded DNA, whereas eukaryotes have multiple, linear chromosomes composed of chromatin surrounded by a nuclear membrane.
College Biology by Textbook Equity
A cell with a single set of chromosomes, such as a gamete, is said to be haploid. nuclues of the zygote contained two sets of chromosomes. It was a diploid cell.

Cell Division Notes:
Prokaryotes transcription is involved in the synthesis of mRNA that is started at promoter (a region of DNA) sequence on the DNA template that further hold two consensus arrangement which recruit RNA polymerase. DNA sequences are termed and disignated by proteins known as transcription factors. The prokaryitic polymerase, comprising a core of enzyme of four protein subunits.
