Immune rejection Notes:
A good example of immune rejection is the skin transplanted from one person to a genetically nonidentical person will look healthy for a week or so but will then be destroyed or rejected by the recipient's immune response. This body's rejection of transplanted tissues or organs or of an incompatible blood transfusion is the expected reaction of a healthy immune system that is being exposed to foreign antigens.
