Genomics Notes:
The study of genome is known as genomics. It is concerned with the structure, mapping, function, editing and evolution of the genome of an organism. genomics aims at the collective characterization and quantification of all of an organism's genes, their interrelations and influence on the organism. Recently the human genome project was completed which helped give insights in to the structure and function of the human genetic material.
