Genetics Notes:
Genetics is the study of heredity or inheritance of traits. Heredity is a biological process where a parents pass on certain genes onto their children or offspring. Every child inherits genes from both of their biological parents and these genes can then express the proteins which express similar characteristics or phenotype as the parents. This idea was first proposed by a scientist Mendel who worked on pea plants.
