Isotonic is the area with same water concentration.

Isotonic Notes:
Any body that has the same osmotic pressure as the other body. There will be no net movement of water molecules. For example if there is same amount of water molecules on both side of the membrane, there will be no net movement of water molecules on either side of the membrane.
