Incomplete flowers Notes:
Flowers that lack any of the important parts of the flowers as described previously, are called incomplete flowers. The examples of incomplete flowers include maize (Zea mays) and members of the Cucurbitaceae (gourds, squash) and Fagaceae (oaks, beech). Some plants have perfect flowers, but are lacking petals. These are apetalous flowers.
