Adverbs of place tell us about an aspect of location associated with the action of a verb, specifying the direction, distance, movement, or position involved in the action.

Adverb of Place Notes:
Adverb of place is all about the location and place of a noun. It tells us more about direction and dimension of a name, place or a thing like up, down , north, east etc. Here and there are the most common adverb of place. For example "Yesterday I lost my pen somewhere." "His shop lies below the over bridge." Words like somewhere and below indicates the place of a verb. It helps us to make better understanding about the verb. We can also use adverb of place in interrogative sentences or in order to inquire something like "Where is my bag?" "who is going to Germany?"
