Transpiration Notes:

Transpiration is the process in which plants release the water which is present inside the plant, in the form of moisture or water vapor. Parts of plants like stems, small pores on leaves or even flowers evaporates the water to the atmosphere. Water is necessary for plants but only a small amount of water taken up by the roots is used for growth and metabolism. The remaining 97-99.5% is lost by transpiration and guttation.
