The Political/Legal/Regulatory Environment can be essentially depicted as the laws and guidelines that business needs to follow so as to ensure the entrepreneurs don't get captured, or have the business fined for resistance of some guideline. Laws are made by government officials - who authorize these laws dependent on the probability they will get re-chose.
