Organizational Behavior by Stephen P. Robbins, Timothy A. Judge

Low Context Cultures Notes:

Low-context culture as a culture that conveys data in an immediate way that depends essentially on words. Low-setting societies don't depend on logical components (i.e., the speaker's manner of speaking or non-verbal communication) to impart data. They take a more straightforward and express approach. This is as opposed to a high-setting society, which depends vigorously on verifiable messages and logical signs (i.e., the circumstance and the speaker's manner of speaking) to transfer data being imparted. Individuals from low-setting societies have numerous connections that keep going for a short measure of time or exist for a particular reason. Following systems and keeping sight of the objective are significant in achieving any exchange. The social guidelines and standards should be explained so individuals who are curious about the way of life comprehend what the desires are. Correspondence is relied upon to be direct and exact, and the utilization of words should adequately pass on the whole message.
