High Context Cultures Notes:

High-context cultures are those in which the standards of correspondence are essentially transmitted using logical components (i.e., non-verbal communication, an individual's status, and manner of speaking) and are not unequivocally expressed. This is in direct difference to low-setting societies, in which data is conveyed basically through language and guidelines are unequivocally illuminated. Note that no culture is totally high-setting or low-setting, since all social orders contain probably a few sections that are both high and low. For instance, while the United States is a low-setting society, family get-together (which are basic in American culture) will in general be high-setting. Individuals from high-setting societies typically have cozy connections that keep going for an all-encompassing time frame. Because of these long stretches of cooperating with each other, the individuals recognize what the standards are, the way to think, and how to act, so the guidelines don't need to be expressly expressed. This makes high-setting societies hard to explore for the individuals who don't comprehend the way of life's unwritten principles.
