A large, highly automated warehouse designed to receive goods from various plants and suppliers, take orders, fill them efficiently, and deliver goods to customers as quickly as possible.

Distribution center refers to a facility which is usually smaller in size as compared to main warehouse of the company. It is used for storage of goods or products according to clients order as received.
